Welcome to Proclaiming Art
A space where creativity and spirit converge. Here, abstract painting, sculpture, installation, and poetry intertwine to tell stories of resilience, renewal, and connection.
Each exhibition is an invitation—to pause, to reflect, and to encounter art as a living dialogue between emotion and imagination. Whether you are discovering new voices or revisiting familiar rhythms, may you find inspiration and restoration within these walls.

A Pause for Reflection
After six months of structured exhibition work, I will be taking a well-deserved break. Circles & Semi-Circles will be my final collection for this year, marking the close of an intense and rewarding creative season.
Throughout December and January, I am stepping back to rest, reflect, and consider the future direction of Proclaiming Art. This sabbatical is a time to restore energy and to listen deeply to where the next chapter of this journey should lead.
Looking ahead, I have two exhibitions in mind for the coming year. The decision on which path to pursue will be made during this period of pause and renewal.
Thank you for walking alongside me in this unfolding story. I look forward to sharing what emerges in the new year.

Circles & Semi-Circles is an exploration of connection, covenant, and transformation. Through abstract forms and layered mixed media, this collection reflects on the symbolism of the circle — a sealed covenant, whole and complete, representing unity, protection, and commitment. Within its boundary, there are no gaps — a steadfast agreement to stand together through every season.
In contrast, the semi-circle speaks of openness and transition — a form in motion, its borders unguarded, its story still unfolding. It invites both vulnerability and possibility, where even the smallest event can alter direction.
Together, these works capture the tension between wholeness and becoming — between what is secure and what is still in formation — offering a visual meditation on the spaces we protect and the ones we allow to remain open.

Yellow Horizon
Yellow Horizon
This is a good start — the pieces have a bold, energetic flow that really captures the feeling of playful experimentation. The strong yellow vertical mark creates a striking divide, almost like two forces meeting or mirroring one another. The layered charcoal-like textures, are paired with the confident black strokes, give it a sense of movement and rhythm, (the choice of music was inspired by the rhythm of the art work) while the red and blue accents lift the page with moments of intensity and brightness.
It feels like I'm loosen up, after months of structured exhibition work, starting to trust the process, and rediscover creative freedom again.
